No. 8 Essentials are a small business that is very supportive of retail stores in New Zealand – most of whom are also small businesses. We believe “bricks and mortar” shops are important for keeping money flowing around the economy, and critical to vibrant communities and we love having our products on shelves so people can discover them.

Most shops make use of our complimentary product testers. We also offer a display stand for the lip balms, and handmade wooden holders for deodorant / perfume testers. We will periodically refresh the testers for you too.

If you think our products would fit well with your shop, we’d like to hear from you. We do try to keep from having nearby shops from having the same products, preferring to have things work for everyone.

We realised the range of cardboard tubes available in New Zealand was small, and often they had plastic liners and outer coatings. No. 8 Essentials are pleased to share our knowledge and supply channels of home-compostable cardboard tubes. Our pricing is tiered based on quantities.

Our custom-made cardboard tubes are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic packaging for many non-aqueous forumulations. They will break down when composted or buried.

Currently we have a wide range of push-up tubes, with plans to add tubs and shakers. Tubes can be custom-made to your needs (minimum quantities apply for such orders).
