About No. 8 Essentials

Established in 2017, we’re a small team based in Wellington City, New Zealand. An enchanting, envigorating, energetic, and entertaining city, with a sharp penchant for wind. Plans are afoot to shift elsewhere in the region, allowing us to expand the product range. The focus on eco-friendly packaging will continue.

Our passion is to create effective, quality personal care products (and other items) using the best of nature and some science to help us formulate our range of affordable products for you.

We’re very keen to reduce plastic usage – relying heavily on the brilliant cardboard tubes that are custom-made for us. We aim to have many more products available in cardboard or other non-plastic packages, such as aluminium or glass. Unfortunately, sometimes a small amount of plastic has to be used with some products, for example in caps, or some labels.
